#1_Thesis Collection
My thesis collection, Crossing Sense, explores the phenomenon of synesthesia — a rare neurological condition where senses overlap, allowing people to "hear" colors or "see" sounds. I was drawn to the poetic beauty of this cross-sensory experience and its potential to inspire a new way of understanding and expressing emotion through fashion.
In this collection, I translated synesthetic perceptions into visual and tactile forms by combining unexpected textures, layered transparencies, and experimental dye techniques. Each look represents a sensory fusion, where sound becomes shape, color becomes emotion, and texture evokes memory.
Crossing Sense is a personal and conceptual journey that challenges the boundaries of perception, asking: what if fashion could touch more than the body — what if it could touch the senses?
#2_Identity Collection
Washed Away is a deeply personal exploration of identity, memory, and environmental decay. Inspired by the visual and emotional impact of water pollution, this project draws a parallel between the slow erosion of nature and the fading of self over time. Using marble dyeing techniques, I recreated the swirling, murky patterns found in polluted waters — a visual metaphor for inner confusion and fragmented identity.
The silhouettes are fluid and slightly distorted, suggesting a body in the process of dissolving into its surroundings. This sense of motion reflects emotional fading, but also quiet endurance.
Washed Away is not only a commentary on environmental damage, but also a poetic expression of how identity is shaped — and reshaped — by external forces. Through this project, I sought to give form to the invisible: the slow loss of self, the weight of memory, and the subtle strength that still remains.
#3_Brand Collection
My design concept explores the idea of timeless fashion — clothing that transcends trends and speaks to the enduring beauty of aging. Inspired by the natural wrinkles that form as people grow older, I used delicate lines and pleats to symbolize the passage of time.
These subtle textures reflect the quiet elegance and depth that come with experience, honoring the idea that age is not something to hide, but something to embrace. Through this concept, I aim to create garments that feel both emotionally resonant and lasting in form.
#4_Bodysuit Collection
This bodysuit explores the complex and intertwined nature of human desire. Inspired by the chaotic and often conflicting cravings that drive us, the design reflects how these emotions can tangle and overlap within the human psyche.
Using stretch cords and strategic cut-outs, I aimed to visually represent the tension between longing and restraint. The cords wrap and twist around the body, mimicking the pull of desire, while the exposed sections reveal vulnerability and intensity.
This contrast between coverage and exposure creates a sense of raw emotion — an intimate portrayal of how deeply personal and powerful human desires can be. Through this piece, I sought to express not only the beauty in our urges, but also the confusion and complexity that come with them.
