Whimsical Nostalgia is a CFDA project that reimagines childhood memories through a romantic, dreamlike lens. Soft volumes, puffed sleeves, and delicate textures reflect the innocence and fantasy of youth.
Pastel tones, vintage trims, and airy fabrics like cotton voile and organza enhance the nostalgic mood, while subtle deconstruction adds depth. This work captures the beauty of imperfect memories — a gentle, whimsical reflection on time and growth.
Awake from sleep
Awake from Sleep explores the emotional transition from numbness to self-reconnection. Inspired by the blurred line between dreams and reality, the design features layered fabrics, string details, and a hoodie to express both vulnerability and comfort. Asymmetry and gathered tension reflect the fragile, complex process of awakening and reclaiming inner clarity.
The structured yet chaotic silhouette symbolizes the confusion of emerging emotions. Raw edges and exposed seams highlight the beauty of imperfection. Through this piece, I aimed to visualize the quiet strength it takes to rise from emotional slumber.
Silent Scars
Silent Scars explores the invisible wounds we carry — the quiet impact of pain, resilience, and healing. Using raw edges, layered sheer fabrics, and slashed details, I reflected the contrast between outer calm and inner turmoil.
Twisted, body-conscious silhouettes represent the struggle to hold oneself together. This project gives form to silent battles, embracing vulnerability as strength.
